I did one of the touristy boat trips off Nha Trang a few years ago and much to my surprise loved it - yes, there was an element of tourists just drinking together but it was a small boat (maybe 12 tourists) and the 3 staff on the boat were fantastic and even put on a bit of a concert for us - plus the snorkelling was gorgeous. Wish I could go back right now!
Oh thank you for writing such a nice article about my old city. It is a pleasure to recall memory from long ago.
Xin Chao! I am vietnamese and I went to Vietnam for the 2nd time when I was 8. I'm a 6th grader, going to be a 7th grader. When I went there it was very fun and i enjoyed it very much.Right now I am doing a project called "THE WORLD'S FAIR"", we write about countries that we chose to do(of course i did vietnam) and on March 14,grade 3-5 go into the 6th grade classroom and learn about different countries. I learned many cool things about Vietnam( i dont know much about Vietnam çause i was born in America and dont really know much about Vietnam until now)and I am very proud to be a Vietnmese person to know all those things about my country!!!
Very much enjoyed your hub. It has great information and it's very inspiring.
I've been thinking of visiting Vietnam, heard a lot of good things about the country. Trekking inland would be one of my activities, after relaxing on the beach for a couple of days. It's a good way to learn about the people, the culture and the country.
Thanks again for a great hub.

We were in Nha Trang last year for 4 days and loved it. We did a day of scuba diving, and a day of visiting Hon Lau (Monkey Island) and a buddhist monastery hidden in the hills about 15 km outside of town. Gorgeous!
